Ben Ford, MSc, MBACP (Accred)
Ben is an integrative counsellor who brings compassion, a depth of psychological awareness, and years of experience working with people to feel better in a variety of contexts. Ben is committed to helping his clients overcome what they're facing so that they can thrive.
He specialises in working with people who have experienced trauma and childhood adversity, as well as anxiety, depression, and men's issues.

Ben has over 10 years experience working with people’s mental health and wellbeing, spanning a variety of people and settings. These include the adult primary mental health care service in the NHS, addiction recovery, youth offenders, people with dementia, physical and learning difficulties, in prisons, and community music groups.
​
Ben's training was Integrative, meaning that he can draw from a variety of models, theories and practices to match the uniqueness of each person's situation. From a foundation of Humanistic principles, he mainly combines elements of Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Polyvagel theory in his client work.

Heather Harden, MSc, MBACP (Accred)
Heather is a trauma-focused integrative counsellor, and has been working in supportive, relationship-based professional roles for ten years. Her current work is centred around her private practice, part-time work with the OU as an assistant lecturer, and completing a second Masters in Psychology.
Heather's interests have never stood still nor traveled in a linear path, but her approach to therapy is consistently rooted in curiosity. Her academic background has touched on evolutionary theory, sex and relationship dynamics, women’s issues, existentialism, education, psychopharmacology, forensic psychology, and transformational altered states – to name a few. Supported by her strong research background, Heather's practice is informed by scientific evidence from a wide range of psychological philosophies.

She is dedicated to her ongoing education and personal work, which maintains her wellbeing, self-awareness, and ability to provide the highest quality care to her clients.
